World of Hyatt Business Card, New Offer and Category Extensions

Hyatt announced today some good news for existing and prospective World of Hyatt Business Credit Card holders. The card is extending its adaptive accelerator benefit in the top three spend categories through December 31, 2023, allowing cardmembers to continue maximizing business spend for use towards free nights, elite status, upgrades and other highly coveted rewards.

As a reminder, the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card adaptive accelerator rewards cardmembers with Bonus Points for their top three spend categories each calendar quarter, which means cardmembers will now earn 2 Bonus Points total per $1 spent in their top three of eight spend categories each calendar quarter through 2023, rather than through 2022. Then it will be reduced to the top two of eight spend categories in 2024 and beyond, with no cap on the Bonus Points they can earn.

Categories include gas stations; dining; airline tickets purchased directly with the airline; car rental agencies; local transit and commuting; internet, cable and phone services; social media and search engine advertising; and shipping, making it easier than ever for small business owners to be rewarded for the ways they do business.

New Offer

To celebrate the extension, new cardholders who apply and are approved for the card by October 6, 2022 will receive two Tier-Qualifying Night Credits per eligible night from August 23, 2022 through December 31, 2022. In addition to this limited time offer new cardholders can also earn a welcome bonus of 60,000 World of Hyatt Bonus Points (equivalent of up to 12 free nights at a category 1 Hyatt hotel or resort or 2 free nights at a category 7 Hyatt hotel or resort) after spending $5,000 within the first three months from account opening.

There’s also an ongoing bonus offer with double points and double Tier-Qualifying Nights.

These new updates are in addition to existing card benefits like purchase protection, no fee for employee business cards, extended warranty protection and more. You can read everything about the card here.
