About Amex Upgrade Offers
- When you upgrade, your card anniversary date doesn’t change. You will be charged a prorated annual membership fee for your new Card based on the time remaining until your next account anniversary date.
- Once you accept an upgrade offer, you must to keep the card for 12 months. The 12-month clock starts from the date you accept the offer, and is different from the anniversary date of you current card (Amex Hilton Card in this case).
- Taking an upgrade offer makes you ineligible for a signup bonus on the Amex Hilton Surpass card. So this offer is a good opportunity mainly for those who already have, or had the card in the past.
