InTouch Credit Union is offering the best rate available for a high-yield checking account. You can currently earn 6.17% APY.

  • MI: Oakland, Macomb, Genesee, Wayn
  • VA: Fairfax, Loudon

This is a great rate, but has a maximum of $50,000 and it requires $2,500 in monthly spend on a debit card. You would have to take into account the credit card rewards you’re leaving on the table. But if you max out the $50K it should still be a good deal.
