Update 3: The Chase Sapphire Preferred 100K bonus is now live online and also available through referral links. Referrals should be officially updated on April 8th, but you can already generate the offer (change “19q” to “19r” in the referral link if it doesn’t show automatically). You can generate referral links if you have one of the Sapphire cards and you will earn a 10,ooo points referral bonus. The modified referral will show an error but it tracks based on previous DPs. If you can wait, then give it a day or two until referrals are officially updated. 

The referral page also shows the expiration date for this offer, at least for referral links. “Your friend gets rewarded too with 100,000 bonus points when they open a new Sapphire Preferred card and complete qualifying activities. Make sure they apply by 5/12/2025.”

Update 2: The same offer will go live online on April 3, 2025. Hopefully we’ll see it through referrals as well.

Update 1: There’s a direct link available now, but it’s a high risk one. The offer is not public yet on the Chase site, so it can be a good idea to still wait until it’s officially announced and maybe available through referrals.

This new 100,000 points bonus for the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card has been available in-branch since March 23rd. The offer is now available online as well as of April 3rd, and hopefully we’ll see it available through referrals as well on April 8th.

Keep in mind that the Chase Sapphire Preferred falls under the Chase 5/24 rule, and you are not eligible if you have any Sapphire card and have received a new cardmember bonus for any Sapphire card in the past 48 months. if you downgrade your Sapphire card, you’ll usually need to wait 4+ days to apply.
