Capital One Will Open a New Lounge at Las Vegas Airport
The first Capital One Lounge opened at Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport a year ago. Two additional lounges at Denver International Airport and at Washington Dulles International Airport outside Washington, D.C. were initially set to open in 2022 but have been pushed back to next year.
Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card holders get complimentary access to these lounges. They can also bring two guests along with them. Capital One Venture Rewards and Spark Miles cardholders get two free visits per year, and discounted access rates after that. Every one else needs to pay $65 to enter these lounges.
But while we wait for those lounges to open, Capital One has moved to add another location to its pipeline of new lounges. Las Vegas Airport (LAS) will get a Capital One Lounge. The Clark County Board of Commissioners has approved a lease agreement for Capital One to open a new lounge at the airport, according to public documents. The news was first reported by Thrifty Traveler.
The 7,875-square-foot space is located at the center of the D concourse. This is a 10-year lease with an option for a five-year extension.
The Las Vegas lounge will have a Grab and Go food section with a full bar and coffee cafe, including cold brew and draft lattes, among other items. Some amenities include soundproof relaxation rooms, luggage lockers, power at every chair, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the lounge.
