OneFamily has hired Claire Anam as senior business development manager for its life insurance brand, Beagle Street.
The financial services firm says Anam’s role will involve, “growing Beagle Street’s visibility within the intermediary space”.
She will work within distribution director Holly Ewing’s team and will report directly to Adam Cubitt, who was appointed as head of distribution last month.
Anam most recently worked as a national account manager at AIG Life, where she looked after strategic accounts and large firms within the intermediary space.
Prior to that, in a 30-year career, she worked as a business protection consultant at Pangea Life, as well as HSBC.
OneFamily bought Beagle Street from digital insurance distributor BGL Insurance in 2022. OneFamily sells equity release, over-50s life cover and various savings products.

“My experience has helped me build significant relationships within the industry, which I am keen to grow further in this new role.”
OneFamily Group’s Ewing adds that Anam, “already has very strong relationships and experience within the intermediary market which will be vital to the team as we expand our protection business”.
