Cover-More Group’s newly appointed interim Group CEO has started work.

In a media release, the Zurich owned global travel insurer announced that Group CFO Justin Sebire (pictured above), is stepping into the role.

The release said Sydney based Sebire’s advancement follows the promotion of the previous Group CEO, Cara Morton, to CEO of Zurich Global Ventures. Morton has relocated to Zurich Group headquarters in Switzerland.

“Mr Sebire will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations in addition to his ongoing responsibilities as Group CFO, a role he took up in March 2023,” said the release.

The announcement referred to the new interim CEO as “an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of global leadership experience.”

Cover-More is headquartered in Sydney and, according to the release, “is one of the top three travel insurance and assistance providers in the world.”

The Group has operations in the USA, Canada, Europe, the UK, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand.

In 2017, Zurich acquired the Sydney based business. According to its website, Zurich, a world-wide multi-line insurer, has a presence in more than 200 countries.
