Company veteran previously held position on an interim basis

Munich Re has announced the appointment of Jeff Marks (pictured above) as chief operating officer of Munich Re Specialty Insurance (MRSI).
In his new role, Marks will become a member of the MRSI leadership team. He will report to Sabrina Hart, CEO of MRSI.
Marks will be responsible for the planning, development and execution of operational strategies and capabilities for the company.
Marks has more than 20 years of leadership experience at large, global firms. He joined MRSI in 2019 as head of service delivery, and has since served on MRSI’s operations and leadership teams. Marks most recently served as interim COO for the company.

In other company news, last year MRSI expanded its excess and surplus lawyers professional liability product to include primary and excess coverage for law firms with 11 or more attorneys and firms with an intellectual property practice.
